🙋‍♂️ Who Am I?

Hi! I’m Dr. Patrick Briney, and I’m honored to welcome you!

“By the grace of God, I am what I am.” — 1 Corinthians 15:10

Born and raised in California, I spent much of my early life questioning who God was. By the time I entered college, I had dismissed His existence altogether.

But then… God had other plans!

📞 My girlfriend (now my amazing wife, Colleen) called me one day with a surprising message—she had become a Christian. I asked, “WHAT?!” She encouraged me to meet with someone who could answer my deepest questions about God.

That one conversation changed everything. I realized that God is real, and my heart began to transform.

Instead of medical school, I followed God’s call into ministry—pursuing a Ph.D. in microbiology while blending science and faith into a unique ministry that has blessed many.

🙏 My Prayer Journey

Prayer has shaped my entire life, especially through one of my greatest trials.

I wrestled with understanding Mark 11:22-24, where Jesus promises that believing prayer can move mountains.

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Then, I faced stage four Hodgkin’s Lymphoma—multiple times. The odds of survival? Nonexistent.

But I prayed without ceasing, trusting God completely.

Fast forward over 38 years—I am still here. A living testimony to God’s power and faithfulness!

I share my journey in my books, “Hope” and “Pray” (available on Amazon), where I dive into prayers God will answer.
